Our Story

Founded on the principles of promoting wellness and fostering a healthy lifestyle, our nonprofit organization initially set out to encourage individuals to prioritize their health and wellbeing. We offered an array of programs designed to encourage active living, balanced nutrition, and mental health support. Not long after our inception, however, it became apparent that for many members of our community, their daily struggles inhibited them from prioritizing their health. Economic hardship took the forefront, and there was a glaring need for immediate, tangible support.

Taking this into consideration, we adapted our mission and shifted our focus to what we now refer to as 'the new bottom line'. We recognized that before we could promote healthy lifestyles, we had to address the basic necessities that were out of reach for many. Our organization pivoted to providing access to essential food items, supplies, and resources to assist individuals with their daily needs.

This transition has not only made us more relevant to our community but has also enabled us to make a more immediate and practical impact. Today, while we continue to advocate for health and wellness, we remain committed to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the basics - a fundamental right that no one should be denied.
